MADISON — On behalf of its thousands of members, Clean Wisconsin Action Fund proudly announces its endorsement of Joe Parisi for Dane County Executive today.
“As a state representative, Joe Parisi has built an impressive record of protecting Wisconsin lakes and supporting policies that will create clean energy jobs,” said Gary Goyke, board chair of the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund.
Rep. Parisi was a leading voice on proposals that banned phosphorus use in fertilizers, and regulated the sale of products that contain mercury, harmful chemicals that can make their way into drinking water and threaten public health and the environment. Parisi also supported wind siting legislation that helps eliminate barriers to wind energy and create clean energy jobs in Wisconsin.
“Joe has the experience and dedication needed to protect Dane County’s beautiful lakes and ensure they remain clean and healthy for generations to come,” said Goyke. “This experience, coupled with his vision of a future powered by clean, renewable energy, makes him an ideal choice for Dane County Executive.”
